Most Expensive Homes in Beverly Hills California in 2021

A Beverly Home is one of the most popular and best-selling homes in the country, with a unique appeal that extends beyond its famous name. A staple of architecture and design magazines and home viewers alike, this brand has become more than just a house: it’s an expression of a luxury lifestyle.

From the moment you step foot in a Beverly home, it’s clear that this is not your typical abode. It is common to find:

an open floor plan without many walls or doors. If walls are present, they may be decorated with murals painted by some of the best artists in the world or hand-carved exotic materials.

fully equipped with only the finest interior design works and appliances money can buy.

kitchens with state-of-the-art appliances and enriched cabinets, bathrooms with rain showers and Jacuzzi bathtubs, and bedrooms that feel like you’re staying in a five-star hotel.

But these amenities are just bonus features of the Beverly Hills lifestyle: the true luxury comes from being surrounded by serene views, fine art, and lush landscapes.

Part of what makes a Beverly Hills home so unique is its attention to detail. You’ll find things like fireplaces, trellis archways, and state-of-the-art security systems in practically every room – all must-haves for the modern homeowner – as well as lush landscape and water elements that complement the luxurious, laidback atmosphere. And if you’re looking into creating an outdoor haven, look no further than a pool and spa area: they’re practically standard among Beverly homes.

Perhaps most noticeably, however, are the sweeping views these luxury abodes offer of Los Angeles’ famous skyline or other award-winning cityscapes below. There’s nothing quite like relaxing on your own turf with one of these scenic spots as a backyard.

Whether you’re looking for a Spanish-style villa in the Flats or an Italian-inspired estate in the hills, it has all sorts of luxury abodes that will suit your tastes. And they come in many different styles: Mediterranean, French Country, Tuscan, and California Contemporary homes among others.

Mediterranean-style homes, for example, often have a spacious open floor plan and large archways. They tend to be more casual than other styles and feature an outdoor pool surrounded by lush landscaping.

For those who prefer the rustic charm of French Country homes, they can offer modern comforts like an electric stove and air conditioning while retaining the feel of a quaint cottage.

Tuscan homes are known for their large, open verandas and can be found in various configurations including one-story, two-story, or even three-stories.

California Contemporary homes are known for their clean lines and represent the state’s laid-back lifestyle with an indoor/outdoor feel to them. And it can be sleek and modern with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Edwin Heathcote, the architecture critic for the Financial Times, calls “Beverly Hills’ architectural nirvana…a weird and wonderful list of buildings”.

If you’re looking for a little seclusion, Beverly Park might be your favorite address. Overlooking the city below, these modern mansions are perfect for anyone craving privacy (without leaving behind all their luxe amenities). The neighborhood is unique for its cast of A-list stars who either grew up here or continue to call it home, including actor Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, model Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, rap mogul Dr. Dre with his actress/model ex Nicole Threatt, actor/comedian Chris Tucker, singer Rihanna, comedian George Lopez, music artists Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles plus NBA players Baron Davis and Blake Griffin – those are only a few of the stars who live here.

Security is also available.  When “friends” visit West Coast rapper The Game in Beverly Park, a guard at the gated community asks for their names. If the guests don’t give a first and last name, they aren’t allowed in.

“At my home in Atlanta, I have a similar situation,” said rapper T.I., who is related to The Game by marriage – he’s married to his cousin Bria Myles. “My security has very strict guidelines about who comes over.” Security is tight in Beverly Park where houses range from 9,000 sq ft to 19,500 sq ft on lots of an acre or more with gates that open to reveal expansive grounds with guesthouses and pools complete with waterfalls and grottos. Most homes are modern or contemporary built on one level with flat roofs and huge windows overlooking the city. “I love living here, but it’s very important for me to have security around,” said The Game.

If you like to entertain, grab some friends and head over to The River House, where there’s plenty of room for everyone! Waterfront views aside, this home is nothing short of glamorous with its open-plan design and the perfect place to catch up on life while staring out at that pool.

Some of the most expensive homes are in the Old Las Palmas neighborhood too where there are some estates that have been updated with modern interiors. One house recently listed for $32M is an updated French Normandy mansion with six bedrooms, five full baths, and three half-baths.

All worth it because, as you would expect from a home in this neighborhood, the price tag is hefty. But that’s not even the biggest downside of living here – for some people at least. Because despite its reputation as an exclusive area, celebrity sightings are commonplace here – after all, who doesn’t want to live across the street from Ryan Seacrest, lol?

Of course, some of the homes that celebrities own in Beverly are used only for the occasional photo op or, erm, romantic rendezvous with their secret girlfriend/boyfriend.

So if you want to live across the street from Julia Roberts’ 25 million dollar estate, where she has returned each year during Oscar season to watch her movies with her kids, then you can. You might also be able to see her dining at The Palm Restaurant across the street.

Don’t bother looking for Keanu Reeves’ house though–it’s never been publicized where he lives when he’s not filming his movies. But if you are dying to know who built it, look no further than Jordan Mayers of Mayers, the construction company responsible for pretty much all of Beverly Hills.

In fact, if you have a ton of money and want to leave your mark on the world by having a place named after yourself, go right ahead–the street signs are up to you! But be advised that they’ll only keep your name for four years!

Fortunately, there are some easy clues to follow if you’re looking for a specific street in Beverly Hills. Main Street is the dividing line between east and west in Beverly Hills, with houses on the Westside beginning at or around 1/8 Mile North of Wilshire Boulevard, while houses on the Eastside start at roughly the same distance south of Wilshire. The street numbers on the west side start at 100 and increase, while the numbers on the east side begin at 400 and go up.

The actual numbering begins at one every block, so an address like 730 S Beverly Drive refers to the intersection of Beverly Dr and 7th St (730 indicates that it’s between 7th St and 8th St). An address like 902 S Beverly Drive refers to the intersection of 9th St and South Beverly Dr.

Not only the best celebrities are living in BH, even the most renowned home builders of Los Angeles such as A. Quincy Jones, Wallace Neff, and Samuel Tilden Norton built their residences in Beverly Hills too.

Let’s dive in and see some of the most expensive homes in the city this year…

I together with my friends appeared to be examining the best guides found on the website and so quickly developed an awful feeling I had not expressed respect to the blog owner for those tips. All the men were as a result joyful to read them and have actually been taking pleasure in these things. Appreciation for genuinely well considerate and also for picking out certain remarkable issues most people are really eager to be informed on. My very own sincere apologies for not saying thanks to you earlier.
