The Los Angeles area has the largest homeless population in the United States, with an estimated 60,000 + individuals living on LA’s streets. This is a staggering number that is not only embarrassing but also devastating to those who are impacted by it. With no jobs available for this population and little opportunity for affordable housing, it can be challenging to find ways to fix this issue.
Everyone is busy
Is it just me or is everyone in LA so busy? I walk through the grocery store and people are on their phones, walking down the street and they’re chatting with someone on speaker phone. It can feel like no one has time to talk anymore. I’m not sure what the deal is but there must be something about living in this city that makes people want to stay connected all of the time. Check that, I think it is about cell phone culture, trying to “make it” in Hollywood, and the like.
I’m not one to judge but I think people in Los Angeles are just really busy. They’re always on the go, they’re always moving and working hard. It’s admirable, but sometimes it feels like no one has time for anything.” With work schedules that span 12 hours or more a day, commutes of 2 hours or more each way, and family obligations taking up all possible free time there is simply no room for leisure. But when people do find the time to unwind it’s usually done at home.
Less green
Los Angeles is a beautiful city, but one of its downsides is that there are fewer trees and grass to be found than in other parts of the country. This is true, but they’re not missing because of a lack of rain or drought-driven water shortages–the explanation is much more complicated! Nearly half of those new residents live in coastal counties like Los Angeles County. Unfortunately, this has led to an increase in the development on open spaces such as hillsides and wetlands which naturally absorb rainfall and filter pollution from runoff before it reaches creeks and rivers below.
Thankfully, the city plants about 100,000 new trees each year which helps, but there are still fewer than other major cities like New York City or San Francisco.

He must know what I want from him and where are the basic amenities of life readily available in Beverly Hills. I would like my agent to find me the ideal home and make certain that it meets all of my requirements in advance. I would also like that my agent listens to me actively about all my demands and find me a house that incorporates all of those.
